On November 9, Nokian Tyres met with the trade press to present the new generation of Hakkapeliitta 10 and R5 tires.

The Finnish manufacturer, which entered the Quebec market in 1979, presented the new Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta 10 studded tire line, which offers an innovative combination of superior winter grip, outstanding driving comfort and environmental friendliness. The unique “Double Stud” technology provides maximum grip on ice and snow, as the center studs improve acceleration and grip when braking, while the shoulder studs maximize grip when cornering and changing lanes.

The new generation of factory-installed studs are strategically positioned in a star-shaped pattern.

This family of tires, officially approved for winter use, maintains precise handling even on open roads. The manufacturer has also put a lot of effort into reducing noise and lowering rolling resistance, which translates into fuel savings.

An electric vehicle version of this tire is also available.
