The Snap-on booth featured innovations across its various brands to meet the needs of tire centres, body shops, and mechanical repair facilities.

The new Hofmann Armored Series 2400P wheel balancer made its official public debut at the SEMA Show. According to the brand representative on site, it offers enhanced durability and speed while ensuring high precision and advanced features.

Built with robust steel to guarantee resistance even in the most demanding environments, the Hofmann 2400P Armored Series is built to last. With its ergonomic design, this balancer features a compact yet sturdy structure, offering maximum capacity without taking up excessive space.

Its high-resolution touchscreen and intuitive interface allow users to navigate the system easily. Additionally, enhanced web connectivity through an innovative app enables shops to access real-time updates, work reports, and training videos.

The 2400P eliminates guesswork with a laser that precisely indicates the exact location for applying weights and balancing strips, ensuring accurate balancing.

Versatile equipment

The Power Clamp function uses advanced electromechanical technology, incorporating a powerful clamping device that securely holds the wheel.

The Hofmann 2400P was developed to be versatile, capable of working with both standard wheels and electric vehicle wheels. It features automatic data entry, avoiding manual input, and automatically detects wheel dimensions, selecting the balancing mode, weight type, and proper weight positions. This automation accelerates the cycle and reduces errors. Another advantage of the Hofmann 2400P is the smartSonar system, using ultrasonic sensors to automatically detect rim width, eliminating the need for manual entries.

John Bean also presented its new John Bean V4400 Commander alignment system. In addition to new features, this equipment comes with two mobile towers, allowing for continuous alignments since vehicles can move forward and exit through a different door than the one used for entry.

John Bean representatives also indicated that the V4400 offers the advantage of producing real-time diagnostic reports. Additionally, the targets attach to the wheels using clamps that grip the tire, thus reducing the risk of damaging rims.

CTR9 Welder

Under the Car-O-Liner brand, the automatic CTR9 welder was showcased, equipped with a lightweight gun. Featuring a 355° swivel handle and ergonomic grip, this gun offers perfect working positions for each user and task. The gun is supported by an extruded aluminum telescopic arm that is both durable and lightweight, easily adjustable vertically and horizontally.

A compact power unit with a low center of gravity ensures mobility and stability. A 16,000-amp transformer and CANBUS communication system complete the package.
