CARSTAR Inaugurates Larry Jefferies Award

Honoring a pioneer of Canadian collision repair, CARSTAR awards its inaugural Larry Jefferies Road Warrior Award to recognize peer mentorship and network collaboration.

Collision repair network CARSTAR Canada has awarded the inaugural Larry Jefferies Road Warrior Award to The Manitoba Group, led by franchise owners Dan Jonsson, Skye Grexton, and Jim Bethune, during its Impact 2026 national conference. Created to honor the legacy of industry leader Larry Jefferies, the award recognizes franchise partners who actively mentor peers and strengthen network-wide operations.

For collision shop operators, insurance partners, and industry stakeholders, the award underscores the commercial value of peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and operational alignment across regional facilities. Dave Foster, Senior Vice President of CARSTAR Canada, noted that the recipient group exemplifies the collaborative leadership and mentorship model championed by Jefferies throughout his career.
