The estimation process is front and centre at the Solera Autodata booth at Automechanika, but what is drawing particular interest is “The Digital Workshop of the Future” augmented reality experience, which has captivated many visitors.

Attendees could put on a headset that immersed them in a collision repair facility, where they could track repair processes while identifying damages and the parts required to complete the job.

Solera’s vast database helps make sense of the most complex repairs, particularly those related to ADAS systems or electric vehicles. This experience relies on a shared platform between Solera Audatex and the Qapter estimating tool to create a direct link between the collision repairer, the insurer, and the parts supplier.
