Automotive diagnostic information provider ALLDATA, an AutoZone subsidiary, has released major workflow enhancements to its ALLDATA Repair Planner software. The updated platform connects factory-correct repair procedures directly to collision estimates imported from Mitchell, Audatex, and the CCC Secure Share Network.
For Canadian collision repair estimators, blueprinters, and shop managers, missing required manufacturer operations during blueprinting delays vehicle cycle times and compromises claim reimbursements. The expanded software features an Estimate Assist module that flags commonly overlooked procedures, links relevant OEM repair articles directly to estimate line items, and maintains a timestamped audit trail of all technical research conducted for each job.
According to the company, linking factory documentation directly to initial files shortens OEM research time from an hour down to minutes per repair order. Providing unedited manufacturer position statements and detailed repair instructions directly to insurers streamlines supplemental approval negotiations while mitigating shop liability on advanced vehicle structures.
