With AirCheck CLE, Schrader provides a customized solution for vehicle and trailer owners whose wheels lack tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS).
Mariam Lochoshvili explained the introduction of this technology that allows trailer, caravan, recreational vehicle, or car owners without TPMS to retrofit their vehicles with this aftermarket safety accessory.
The AirCheck BLE TPMS kit, incorporating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, includes BLE sensors that monitor tire pressure and temperature, as well as sensor battery status, providing accurate information displayed in a user-friendly mobile application. The battery status indicator enables preventive replacement.
The package, set to hit the market in early 2025, also includes a rechargeable range extender that increases the communication range between sensors and the mobile application up to 225 metres. This extender is particularly useful when used on long trailers. The app setup process is straightforward, featuring a QR code function to facilitate vehicle configuration transfer from installer to driver and between drivers.
“We recognize the importance of adding TPMS technology to various transportation and travel applications,” emphasizes Lochoshvili. “For instance, a family going camping will feel confident seeing real-time tire pressure readings before heading into remote areas.”
Schrader also took advantage of their presence at SEMA to showcase new additions to their replacement parts catalogue, particularly for electric vehicles.
