Michelin ONCall, the premier emergency roadside service program, has exceeded 2.5 million breakdown events since its inception in 2009.

ONCall has become a “go-to” service for fleets across the U.S. and Canada, helping fleet owners stay on the road longer while lowering downtime and related expenses.

“This achievement is a demonstration of Michelin’s commitment to delivering a superior level of customer service with ONCall since its initial inception,” said Kate Kaufman, VP of Services for Michelin North America, Inc. “This service continues to place long-haul fleets and their needs at the forefront of our customer care initiatives, offering comprehensive assistance and commitment to owners and operators who value maintenance and efficiency, leading to the improved total cost of ownership.”

The 2.5 millionth breakdown event was received on May 12, 2023. Service Tire Truck Center responded to the situation, and the fleet truck was back on the road in less than two hours.

“STTC is thrilled that our company has successfully handled the 2.5 millionth service event for Michelin ONCall, marking a significant milestone in our partnership,” said Walt Dealtrey, President and CEO of STTC. “This achievement is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service for Michelin ONCall and our mutual customers. This particular customer was back on the road under our goal of 100 minutes. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and surpassing many more milestones together.”

Michelin ONCall is Michelin’s emergency roadside service program, providing 24/7 assistance—such as mechanical and tire roadside service, towing and live tracking—that allows customers to follow the status of breakdowns in real time. With Michelin ONCall, customers can access FixPix, Michelin’s digital app, where geocoded photos taken at the site of the breakdown are stored, allowing customers to see the damage and know the right service was provided. Finally, reporting is made easy with access to all service history details.
