Canadian company Martins Industries showcased a comprehensive catalogue of specialised equipment for tire and mechanical repair shops at the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas.
Martin Dépelteau, president of this fast-growing company, told Autosphere.ca about the new additions to its catalogue. The Quebec manufacturer recently acquired Checkpoint, a British company that manufactures and market heavy truck wheel nut indicators. These simple and practical biodegradable accessories make it possible to quickly see if a lug nut needs tightening or if the wheel is overheating. This is a critical safety feature for these transportation industry vehicles.
Dépelteau also presented his new line of hand tools in the form of impact wrenches specifically designed for tire and mechanical service centres. These high-quality tools, which come with the corresponding sockets, can be powered by either compressed air or battery.
“What I like about attending this show is that customers who purchased equipment five or six years ago are coming back and finding new products from our catalogue,” notes Martin Dépelteau. “To me, this is proof that our equipment stands the test of time and that our customers are committed to and trust our brand.”
