The Sailun Group announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art tire production facility in Cambodia.

This new factory officially opened its doors on November 18th and has since started production to primarily supply additional passenger and light truck (PLT) tire products to the North American market and select European regions.

This brand-new facility was completed in just two years and is one of the most advanced tire factories in the world. Sailun utilizes automation to digitally manage equipment maintenance, calibrations and temperature settings for improved quality product outputs. The Cambodian factory is the Sailun Group’s sixth global factory and seeks to fulfill the increased global demand for Sailun Group products and brands.

“We’re thrilled to formally announce the opening of this world-class facility. Year-over-year we’re seeing an increased demand for our products as they offer incredible performance at affordable prices compared to other major tire brands out there. This new facility will help us meet the needs of our customers by producing great tires that are designed and thoroughly tested by our North American team to deliver on the specific needs of the North American market – all while still providing the excellent value our products and brands are known for,” says Ron Dolan, President, Sailun Tire Americas.
