The financial challenges facing First Brands’ parent company in the United States are not affecting its Canadian operations. At the AAPEX trade show, it was clear that the group’s brands are thriving.

Brands like Raybestos, TRICO, and FRAM, well-known to mechanics, were prominently featured at the show. FRAM was showcasing its new MaxxFlow universal air filter, made of washable plastic.

Luciano Cifelli, First Brands’ Canadian operations manager, then presented the new windshield wipers developed under the Michelin Forecast brand. Delivered with the necessary adapters, these wipers meet Michelin’s high quality standards and feature a convenient yellow wear indicator, making it easier to decide when to replace them.
