The importance of Epicor’s rigor

Epicor took advantage of its presence at AAPEX to showcase the new version of its electronic catalog, guiding the conversation toward the importance of accurate data and a user-friendly interface.

Josée Levert, National Account Manager for Epicor Automotive, joined Suellyn Sprague, Vice President of Product Development, to describe the improvements made to the electronic catalog.

In fact, Epicor acts as a dynamic link between approximately 5,000 automotive parts and product suppliers and their users. The company relies on a team of 85 specialists who compile and validate data from suppliers to ensure that the catalog is constantly updated.

This electronic catalog offers a simplified search tool to find the right part, check its price and availability. A high-definition image and diagram of the part guarantee the right choice.

Artificial intelligence, combined with this data, also enables the sharing of strategic information, for example, telling stores which parts are most likely to be replaced, or telling technicians which accessories should be replaced during the same repair.
