At the AAPEX Show, Epicor showcased powerful analytics tools and a next-generation parts catalogue for automotive aftermarket businesses.
Epicor, a leader in industry-specific enterprise software and principal data provider and aggregator for the automotive aftermarket, presented new analytics tools that offer parts manufacturers in-depth, actionable visibility into market demand and performance indicators.
These new solutions, along with the Epicor Automotive Catalogue, now fully integrated with Epicor Vision, were showcased at the booth during the event.
Epicor arrived at AAPEX following the recent acquisition of Solenium Group and Visual SKUs, whose Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions strengthen Epicor’s position as North America’s most comprehensive provider of industry-standard compliant catalogue content.
“Epicor’s recent innovations and investments provide the entire automotive aftermarket ecosystem—from manufacturers to distributors to service and repair shops—with new capabilities to manufacture, market, move and sell products more efficiently and profitably,” said Tim Hardin, Senior Vice President of Epicor. “Our data-driven solutions, designed for ease of use, help the aftermarket eliminate inefficiencies, accelerate revenue growth, strengthen customer loyalty, and improve bottom-line results.”
The new analytics tools presented at AAPEX are part of Epicor’s expanded portfolio of data analytics solutions for the aftermarket, which help the ecosystem optimize distribution programs, predict repair behaviours, and measure market performance.
Epicor Brand Performance Analytics provides an in-depth view of brand performance in the Epicor catalogue compared to competing brands. Users can explore various gain/loss statistics against competing brands, including by vehicle type, imports versus domestic brands, pricing, screen position, and other factors. According to Josée Levert, National Account Manager for Canada at Epicor, the new version of the electronic catalogue, now integrated with Epicor Vision, is a significant improvement to the reference product. Updated more quickly and more user-friendly, it will soon be offered in French for our market. It’s worth noting that the reference electronic catalogue is now fully integrated with Epicor Vision, Epicor’s flagship distribution management system, allowing more customers to access it easily. This catalogue is powered by Epicor’s aftermarket product content engine, containing more than 1.6 billion catalogue applications and 12 million unique part numbers from over 4,000 suppliers.
