Acquisition by Velan Media Group brings new opportunities and capabilities for Autosphere.

Change they say is the only constant. Every day things evolve, with the old giving way to the new. And change is something we’re very familiar with here at Autosphere, given how quickly the automotive industry itself is evolving. Recently, we ourselves have been fully immersed in the process of change, due to Autosphere’s recent acquisition by Velan Media Group, a conglomerate of specialized digital media and employment websites, which include the legal, engineering and automotive sectors.

This represents a new chapter for us, and one that’s set to further reinforce who we are and what we deliver. Velan Media Group Chair René Lewandowski and his team saw real value in acquiring Autosphere and have placed a great deal of trust in us and our efforts that have helped the brand become Canada’s leading automotive B2B information resource over the last 28 years.

Building on a solid foundation

As a result, it will be very much business as normal going forward, with the same editorial team and commitment to providing top quality content across the automotive retail, fleet, tire, mechanical and collision repair sectors. Additionally, being part of a larger group allows us the ability to leverage greater resources with the aim of further raising the bar in terms of what we can provide you, our valued readers. We’re very excited about this next stage of our journey and we look forward in continuing to be your premier source of information and ideas for the automotive industry in Canada.
