The AccuVision 3D measuring tool developed for body shops by Canadian company Arslan is now available for use on heavy trucks.

This precision measuring system has been available to body shops for seven years, where it is used both for damage assessment and for checking the structure of vehicles during and after repairs.

Joseph Ayas, the company’s new CEO, announced at SEMA the introduction of a version of AccuVision 3D designed for heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, and buses. The system works the same way, but the equipment can now handle vehicles up to 33 feet long. Special pointers with curved tips or longer sleeves make it easy to reach the measurement points on these large vehicles.
