SATA celebrates the 100th anniversary of its first paint spray gun

It was in the fall of 1925 that SATA launched its first paint spray gun, and there was no question of letting this anniversary pass unnoticed.
The supplier of precision automotive painting equipment celebrated this anniversary in style at its booth at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. We met with Joërn Stoever, General Manager of SATA Canada, who presented the Jet X spray gun with a design inspired by the centennial.
The latest incarnation of SATA’s paint spray gun is also featured alongside the SATAjet 100 B and SATAminijet 4440 B versions in an exclusive box set that includes an aluminum cup and a souvenir booklet.
SATA was originally a manufacturer of precision medical instruments. A combination of circumstances led the company to shift its operations to the manufacture of automotive paint spray guns a hundred years ago.
