Manufacturer Car Bench displayed several interesting pieces of equipment at their SEMA booth.

One of these is the new Barracuda straightening bench. This quick-pull bench featuring a 5-metre frame is mounted on an electro-hydraulic scissor lift.

Its length and robustness allow it to be used for both passenger vehicles and larger commercial vehicles. It is equipped with a 10-ton pulling system that can be applied at any point of the frame with vertical and horizontal rotations of +/- 90°. Additionally, the Barracuda can be equipped with several accessories. It’s worth noting that it can be floor-mounted or recessed for space efficiency.

One of the complementary tools that can be added to this straightening bench is the Contact Evolution electronic measuring system. Its measuring software allows technicians to quickly measure a vehicle to diagnose and properly identify damage without having to lift the vehicle or place it on a frame bench. This process ensures an accurate initial inspection, reducing estimate variations.
