As the city of Montreal vibrates to the rhythm of fast cars, Fix Network, partner of the Stake Kick Sauber Formula 1 team, organized a VIP evening on June 5 to share this high-performance fever with friends and family.
The party took place in the heart of downtown, at the Yoko Luna restaurant, where just over a hundred guests gathered to share this passion. Among the guests were several Fix Network franchisees, suppliers and insurance partners, hosted by members of the management team from across Canada.
Steve Leal, President of Fix Network World, was on hand to recall that it was in Montreal that the company he heads took root before becoming the multinational it is today. Explaining the importance of the partnership with the Stake Kick Sauber Formula 1 team, Leal mentioned how this competition was the pinnacle of motorsport. “If Formula 1 is at the zenith of motorsport, it’s because the success of the teams is based on remarkable teamwork. And for our industry, that’s very inspiring,” he says with a smile. For Fix Network, which has a commercial footprint around the globe, the visibility offered by a partnership with a Formula 1 team will be strategic.
It was obvious that the people in the magnificent room where the meeting took place shared a passion for this prestigious competition, which fills the greater Montreal area with chequered flags.
Drivers presence
Sylvain Séguin, President of Fix Network Canada, warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the two drivers from the Stake Kick Sauber team, Valtterri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou, who addressed the crowd before taking part in a question-and-answer session.
Both drivers agreed that Montreal is a destination where you can feel the passion for cars, even if the track isn’t their favorite. Generous with their time, they answered a series of questions about their personal car preferences and the drivers with whom they have the best rapport. They then took part in a photo session with groups of guests.
The evening and discussions continued as gourmet buffets awaited guests.
For Fix Network, it was an opportunity to launch the activities surrounding the Montreal Grand Prix in style, while underlining its partnership with this major event.
