Thousands of classic car enthusiasts gathered at Granby International from July 28-30.
This was the 40th edition of Granby International 2023, the event having been cancelled in 2020 and 2021.
The show has been held in Granby since 1981 and has since been renamed the classic car capital of Quebec, due to the importance of the event. The Granby International is one of the largest Concours d’Elegance for classic cars in Canada.
Parc Daniel-Johnson on the shores of Lac Boivin played host to Granby International. More than 1,500 cars were on display. There were hot rods, rat rods, muscle cars, old-time beauties, classics, crank cars and much more.
Fans could take advantage of the flea market on site to find beautiful decorations to hang in their garage or to find a part missing from their car. An auction of around 100 cars rounded off the event.
Autosphere friends and car enthusiasts Pierre, Mario and Christian Poulin, the latter in the company of his son Mathieu, were kind enough to share their favourites with our readers.
“We spent over five hours there,” explains Pierre Poulin, his eyes sparkling, “and we didn’t get to see everything!”
