Pirelli Engineeers Six Dedicated Tires for All-Electric Porsche Cayenne

Pirelli and Porsche have expanded their engineering partnership with the introduction of six tailor-made original equipment (OE) tire fitments developed specifically for the first all-electric Porsche Cayenne.

Designed using an entirely virtual development process, Pirelli simulated compounds, tread patterns, and contact patches to match the instant torque and dynamic handling requirements of Porsche’s electric AWD chassis architecture. All fitments feature Pirelli Elect technology, providing low rolling resistance to extend battery range, acoustic damping for cabin quietness, and reinforced casings to manage high battery curb weight.

Approved Tire Portfolio:

• P Zero (21- and 22-inch): Offers a balance of rolling efficiency, Porsche sport handling, and wet-weather stability.

• P Zero R (22-inch): Developed specifically for the high-performance Cayenne Turbo (0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds). Uses motorsport-derived compounds adapted from the Porsche 911 and P Zero Trofeo RS semi-slick series to maximize longitudinal traction and lateral grip.

• Scorpion Winter 2 (20- and 22-inch): Approved winter fitment designed for severe cold-weather performance and traction.

• Scorpion MS All Season (20-inch): Provides year-round versatility across North American climates.
