Nokian Tyres Launches Summer Road Trip Guide Campaign

Real drivers. Real destinations. Real Roads. That’s the theme of the Nokian Tyres Road Trip Guide, a consumer campaign that begins Monday and runs through June 19 at NokianTyres.com/Guide. 

During the summer road trip campaign, the global tiremaker invites drivers to submit their favorite off-the-beaten-path destinations, from roadside diners and remote trails to stunning views and standout landmarks. The Road Trip Guide website also features a tire quiz to help consumers pick the right tires to take them to their favorite destinations, plus safety tips that allow drivers to focus on scenery, not the side of the road.

“Safety is the foundation of every journey, from daily errands to cross-country road trips,” said Nokian Tyres North America Director of Marketing Hans Dyhrman. “Our Road Trip Guide is a great place for drivers to turn for inspiration and information that will help them make the most of their summer travels.” Nokian Tyres will feature road trip safety tips, aspirational journeys and destination recommendations from tire dealers on its social media channels.

Several road-trip-equipped all-season, all-terrain and all-weather products come from Nokian Tyres’ North American factory in Dayton, Tennessee, to tire shops throughout the United States and Canada. Popular tires include the Nokian Tyres One all-season touring tire, the all-terrain Nokian Tyres Outpost family and the all-weather Nokian Tyres Remedy WRG5, a snow-certified all-weather tire. Last year the tiremaker introduced the Nokian Tyres Surpass AS01, an ultra-high-performance all-season tire infused with puncture-resistant Aramid fibers that blends durability and adrenaline.

Nokian Tyres invented the winter tire and launched a revolutionary studded winter product earlier this year, the Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta 01. It’s the first studded winter tire to come with on-demand grip and is available for purchase at tire shops this fall.
