There’s a new buzzword you may have heard about: ChatGPT. Just launched in November, it only took five days to reach one million users!

The reason ChatGPT got so big so quickly is that it’s a great tool that can save time and money. It can generate rich content and writes it very fast.

But there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The first is, you have to be very specific about what you ask it to do. And you also have to proofread it. It’s not foolproof. You need to edit what it’s written because it can be a little invalid.

Tire retailers can use it to create copy for marketing assets, such as content for social media posts, blogging, and short snippets on your website. Imagine how long it takes you to write five paragraphs. Well, ChatGPT can do five paragraphs in five seconds!

Time saver

So it’s undoubtedly a huge time saver. ChatGPT is funded by OpenAI, which is funded by Microsoft. So it’s essentially AI, which you’ve been hearing about for years now. Even so, I see that only 49 percent of people don’t have any AI involved in their business.

It’s possible they may not know what AI is. But chances are, they’re already using it. If they’re using Google Ads, there is AI involved in that. And any time they use Google, Yahoo or Bing search engines when they search keywords,  they’re helping to filter in what AI uses.

For all the questions that you use on Google, Yahoo or Bing, when you get the answers, content shows up – like websites and businesses. That’s how all that information feeds into ChatGPT.

When a tire shop wants to write content, they want to have good, rich content on their landing pages about, for example, the benefits of winter tires. They can ask ChatGPT, “What are the benefits of winter tires?” And it will give you very specific reasons.

What’s nice about this is that these are the questions that customers are asking–not to you, but to the internet. It’s the information they’re looking for. So you could have ChatGPT write a social media post about the benefits of winter tires, and then review it with the benefit of your expertise. You want to make sure anything you post is 100 percent accurate! And you’ll have saved yourself about three hours of work.

Just input a question, and you’ll get about four sentences plus bullet points. All you have to do is proof it and you’re set to go. You can schedule it out, and in a matter of probably 10 minutes, you could have a full week’s worth of postings for social media, blogs, and content for your website.

Free for now

Remember, content helps customers find you on the internet, and helps you engage with them. ChatGPT gives you an easy way to do this without worrying about how you word the content.

Best of all, right now ChatGPT is free. That could change. But now is a great time to work with it and see what it can do for you. It can help you create everything from emails, blogs, social media posts, product descriptions, headlines, website copy, and captions.

Just remember, it’s not foolproof. And it may not work with creating Google Ads content. Even the founders are being very honest, they’re telling users to read the content that it’s generating. Technology can make errors, which is why we have to work together – which is also why technology won’t ever completely replace humans.
