Kumho Tire has unveiled a new mission and vision in the lead up to its 60th anniversary on September 5th, when it will announce the winners of its promotional event and send them a congratulatory message through its live online broadcasting channel.

The company outlined its new set of values under the leadership of CEO Jeon Dae-jin. Its mission now is to deliver safety and convenient mobility to its customers by leveraging new technologies and solutions, while its vision is summed up with the slogan “Your Smart Mobility Partner,” demonstrating the tire maker’s commitment to serving both B2B and B2C customers globally.

Kumho also presented Vision 2025, which will guide the company in the medium and long term in its journey toward developing future-oriented technologies. To this end, the Gwangju-based company will not only focus on its tire business but also expand its portfolio to include mobility products and services for the future.

“In this unprecedented time of a global pandemic, we are at the starting point of another 60 years as we navigate a new paradigm in the tire sector, which is characterized by the word ‘mobility.’ Kumho is doing its utmost to take back the position it deserves by turning the current crisis into an opportunity through the concerted efforts of both management and labor,” said CEO Jeon at Kumho Tire. “Building on the last 60 years, we should remain steadfast in our commitment to achieving growth for another 60 years. With our new set of values as guidance, we will place our highest priority on customers to overcome the crisis we are faced with now and create a foundation for future growth.”

In appreciation of its customers’ support over the last 60 years, Kumho has released an advertisement entitled “Go With You” as part of its “60 Years, Go With You” campaign. The ad was created in collaboration with the B-boy team Jinjo Crew and the tire manufacturer plans to launch the advertising campaign on digital channels such as YouTube as part of its sales and marketing activities.
