A sign of the times, supplier Robert Bosch presented specialized equipment for high-voltage EV battery diagnosis and repair at its Automechanika booth.

Diagnostic tools presented during a press visit on the eve of the show’s opening make it possible to measure battery condition by analyzing each individual cell. The goal is to see if it can be repaired and restored to greater capacity instead of being replaced at great cost.

The manufacturer also demonstrated a pneumatic lifting table designed to effortlessly raise heavy EV batteries. The German equipment supplier’s commitment is to support all shops through the constant evolution of automotive technologies.

Bosch representatives stressed the importance of having proper training before considering work on the high-voltage systems of electric and hybrid vehicles.
