Lucas Oil took advantage of the AAPEX show to launch two additives designed specifically for hybrid vehicle engines.

The products will be available in Canada by early 2026 under the HybridShield technology label. Designed to meet the specific needs of these engines, the additives can be added either to the fuel or to the oil reservoir.

Their lubrication function is to support the engine, which operates only intermittently—putting it under significant stress. The additives also help better protect internal components from wear by adding an extra layer of protection.

The fuel version offers the added benefit of stabilizing the fuel while dissipating any moisture that may accumulate.
