Under the theme “Full Throttle! Racing to Win!”, the 2025 Carquest Grand Gathering took place on September 5 and 6 at L’Estérel, bringing together 350 participants from across Canada.

This major event was the perfect occasion to celebrate the 30th anniversary of AutoPLACE Maître mécanicien, a banner exclusively from Quebec. The meeting also included shops represented by the TechNet banner. Beyond the celebrations, the event—held under the dynamic theme Full Throttle! Racing to Win!—was a time for colleagues to exchange ideas and share knowledge with key representatives from the industry.

A networking cocktail reception was combined with an exhibition from supplier partners, giving shop representatives the opportunity to connect with providers of products and services and learn more about their latest innovations.

Jean-François Champagne, President of AIA Canada, provided an update on the industry and shared the excellent news of the right to repair coming into effect for the automotive aftermarket. The Carquest Canada team also highlighted new features in the AutoPLACE and TechNet programs.

Economist Francis Gosselin and well-known TV personality Gino Chouinard wrapped up the morning conference sessions, after which participants could take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Pontoon rides, water activities, and relaxation at the spa or pool were all on the agenda.

The event concluded with a gala evening, featuring a gourmet dinner, award presentations, a fireworks show, and a lively dance party with a live band.
