MAHLE Aftermarket had a range of products and solutions on display at AAPEX this year for both light vehicles and commercial applications. While electrification was a key theme of the show and MAHLE has been expanding its product range on the EV side, including thermal management solutions for high voltage battery packs, it continues to invest significantly in traditional internal combustion engine technology, including its range of air and fuel filters.
At AAPEX, Christopher Battershell provided an overview of MAHLE’s extensive line of filters for European, Asian and Domestic vehicle applications. “The passenger car market is our primary focus, and one where we have significant coverage,” he said. It’s also one where MAHLE is leveraging its OEM expertise to deliver quality filters that cover over 90% of VIO on air filters and 95% on the oil filter side.
MAHLE also had on display it’s re-designed FluidPRO ATX-280, that’s designed for exchanging transmission fluid. This features a large touch screen display and a new graphical interface for easier customer operation. When connected to WiFi, the FluidPRO ATX-280 enables constant updates and remote assistance, as well as the ability to print the final report directly from the workshop computer.
