At the AAPEX show in Las Vegas, Philips showcased its expanded range of automotive lighting solutions.

In Q3 2025, the company will launch the Ultinon Essential NextGen in Canada and Mexico. This innovative headlight, compatible with halogen systems, was designed to promote LED technology adoption. It features a design that simplifies the installation process and requires no adapter. For fog light applications, it incorporates a passive cooling system with a small fan.

Philips is also enhancing its accessory lineup with new light bars and cubes featuring a screwless design, high temperature resistance, and superior protection rating. The yellow version, which arrived in warehouses in November, provides enhanced visibility in challenging weather conditions. Due to its wavelengths, this type of lighting eliminates blue and ultraviolet colours and effectively penetrates fog, rain, and snow. While serving different functions, it doesn’t offer the same range as white light, which bounces off and refracts obstacles it encounters.

New Xperion 3000 Range

Finally, Philips unveiled its new entry-level Xperion 3000 series, comprising eleven work light models. These versatile units feature numerous functionalities including beam options, various lighting modes, hooks, and a magnetic base. While less robust but more affordable than those from the professional 6000 series, they’re perfectly suited for daily use.
