While at AAPEX 2023, Autosphere had the opportunity to visit Phinia and Delphi Aftermarket at booth #A5207 and chat with Jenna Boone, Vice President & General Manager, North American Aftermarket, and David Cochrane, Regional Sales Manager, Licensed AST/TCT.
“We’ve introduced almost 500 parts during 2023,” said Boone, “with 104 parts added during Q4.” Among the products on display at AAPEX were Delphi remanufactured F2E common rail diesel fuel injectors for Volvo and Mack truck applications, which incorporate three pumping and non-pumping injectors—eliminating the need for additional pumping elements.
Other new products we sampled included new Delphi Fuel Management components, including the Sparta fuel line designed for higher mileage and earlier model year vehicles that still represent a sizeable portion of total vehicle parc. Delphi has also expanded its Vehicle Electronics line, with 211 new parts covering more than 261 million vehicles currently in use across the U.S. and Canada, as well as expanded SKUs for steering and suspension (167 parts covering 135 million vehicles).
Another area where Delphi has been making a big emphasis is training. “This is going to be a continuing focus for us,” explained Boone. “We believe this is fundamental in helping technicians achieve their best and a benefit for us in terms of delivering the right product to market.”
