Carquest Throws a Classic Car Show for a Good Cause

Sunday August 20, saw the 5th edition of the classic car show organised by Carquest at its Boucherville facility.

Some 200 beautiful cars were grouped together in the distributor’s car park, prominently located off Autoroute 20 in Boucherville. This concentration of remarkable vehicles attracted a lot of attention, with an estimated 1,500 people coming to discover them and take part in the many activities organised by the Carquest team. The event also involved suppliers and representatives from the network’s workshops.

“This event is becoming increasingly popular,” explains Lucian Jurca, Carquest’s Director of Canadian Operations and President of the Carquest/WorldPac Charitable Foundation. “It’s a great celebration for our staff, customers and partners. What’s more, this exhibition raises funds for the Foundation, which gives back to local organizations. This year, we donated the proceeds to the Pierre Boucher Hospital Foundation.”

As well as discovering beautiful old cars and chatting with their owners, visitors were able to enjoy a canteen, an auction and raffles throughout the day.
