While coming out of COVID-19, it was with great enthusiasm that Bumper to Bumper held their 18th Charity Golf Tournament at Lionhead Golf & Country Club on Thursday, July 13th, 2023.

The tournament was successfully backed by over 100 participants consisting of suppliers, members and Auto Service Providers, in supporting Bumper to Bumper’s charity of choice—the Breakfast Club of Canada—in order for kids to have a nutritious breakfast. The golfers enjoyed a great round of golf as the weather cooperated throughout the day.

After golfing there was a cocktail hour for mingling and networking with each other then followed by a buffet dinner, golf prizes and a welcome speech by President, Emilie Gaudet who thanked everyone for attending the tournament and for their support.

She also thanked the organizing committee for putting their heart and soul into arranging the event.

Sebastien Lachapelle, V.P. President—Sales & Customer Care, Eastern Canada also thanked everyone for participating and announced that after 38 years of service at Uni-Select, Kam Sukhram will be retiring this fall and wished him well in his next chapter of life.

Kam has been a mainstay of Uni-Select in various sectors of Canada and was finally asked to join the organization’s Ontario division ‘as they needed him there’. Sukhram stepped into the division and has spent quite a few years in Ontario as Marketing Manager, working diligently for the organization and coming up with some great ‘attractions’ for jobbers and ASPs to attend… a gift from Bumper to Bumper for their valued members.

As Kam heads to a well-deserved retirement, we all wish him the very best and thank him for a job well done over his years with Uni-Select.
