AAPEX 2022: Schrader Offers Flexibility for TPMS

Supplier Schrader offers automotive aftermarket shops a technology solution to simplify tire pressure sensor replacement.

Schrader manufactures original equipment tire pressure sensors and believes this expertise makes all the difference when an independent shop needs to replace them. It has developed replacement sensors specifically for this market under the EZ-Sensor brand that can be configured to cover 95% of vehicles on the road.

As Trainer Tim Kirkham explains, EZ-Sensor sensors come in four configurations to accommodate different wheel mounting profiles. “The shop can program them with an aftermarket tool or with the one we developed,” he explains. In the latter case, our tool comes with five years of free updates. Our goal is to make TPMS diagnosis and replacement simple for independent shops.”
