While Philips continues the shift to LED automotive lighting accessories, they are not forgetting about shops where work can be simplified with powerful, mobile accent lighting.

“The pandemic was good for us as consumers had more time to add lighting accessories to their vehicles,” says Vincent Ranic, Aftermarket Vice President for Philips. The offering of higher-performance LED accessories is very well received.”

That said, at the Philips booth at AAPEX, what was also attracting attention were the new high-tech, mobile LED lighting units in the work light family.

The Xperion Flood mini or Flood audio lamps, which will be available early next year in our market, have an adjustable beam and a magnetic backing, allowing them to be strategically positioned for precision work. They are powered by rechargeable batteries. The more elaborate Xperion audio version also includes Blue Tooth speakers, so you can work to music. A simple movement of the hand is enough to activate it.
