Sometimes you need a heavy-duty truck to get the job done.

These are entirely the domain of the three Detroit-based automakers. Toyota doesn’t offer a heavy-duty Tundra, and Nissan’s Titan, including the beefier Titan XD, is no longer sold in Canada. Here’s a roundup of the trucks available for 2022.

Maximum towing capacity includes conventional or gooseneck towing, whichever is higher. Note that Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) does not publish fuel efficiency figures for heavy-duty trucks.
