Teaming up with the Trillium Automobile Dealers Foundation (TADF) and Conquer COVID-19, a volunteer organization that includes physicians, business leaders, entrepreneurs and other volunteers who have joined together to protect frontline workers by providing them with PPE supplies to ensure they are able to treat patients and help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
According to Christy Fines, General Manager of 400 Chrysler and sister dealership Barrie Chrysler, the aim was to continue giving back to the community, something the Auto IQ group has consistently done over the years but with an emphasis on helping those that are working hard to combat COVID-19.
For us, community contribution has always been near and dear to our hearts.
— Christy Fines, General Manager, 400 Chrysler
“At this time, COVID-19 is proving hard for everybody so it only made sense for us to do a PPE drive to help organizations and individuals that really need help, including RVH Regional Health Centre in Barrie, senior’s homes and of course frontline healthcare workers. We put out the message on our social medial channels and asked that if anybody has PPE supplies, our stores are a drop-off point and by bringing them by we will make sure they are donated.
We just want to do our part to help those on the front-lines who are doing their best to help flatten the curve and get our communities and our country going again, ” added Fines.
