Building on the success of last year’s event, Fix Network brought back its major evening celebration to mark the launch of the festivities surrounding the Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix. As a reminder, Fix Network is a partner of the Stake Kick/Sauber racing team and leverages this relationship to set the tone for its VIP event.
A strong delegation from the company’s leadership team was in attendance, led by President Steve Leal. He briefly stepped away from conversations with groups of clearly delighted attendees to take the microphone and thank all the partners who contribute to the success of Fix Network. He then invited the two Formula 1 drivers to join him on stage for a Q&A session.
Seasoned German driver Nico Hulkenberg and rookie Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto showed great chemistry during this segment, which participants thoroughly enjoyed. The questions covered a wide range of topics, from their everyday cars and their goals for the Montreal race to the heartfelt advice from their mothers to always drive carefully.
In the past, Steve Leal has explained the importance of aligning Fix Network with such a prestigious motorsport event, emphasizing the crucial role of teamwork—both in F1 racing teams and in Fix Network body shops. He also noted that associating with the global image of Formula 1 ideally supports Fix Network’s efforts to expand in multiple international markets.
When asked whether a similar agreement would be signed with the team as it transitions under the Audi name next year, Mr. Leal simply smiled and said he was working on it.
It was clear that everyone gathered in the elegant venue shared a passion for the race that transforms the Greater Montreal Area with checkered flags.
Conversations carried on as trays of Japanese-inspired gourmet bites quickly disappeared.
