On June 5, CARSTAR Rawdon and CARSTAR St-Félix-de-Valois came together for a remarkable cause at the very first edition of the CARSTAR Golf Tournament in support of cystic fibrosis. Held at the scenic Saint-Hyacinthe Golf Club, the event brought together 180 participants, including 119 golfers, for a day of community spirit, generosity, and purpose.
The event was meticulously organized by the dedicated teams at CARSTAR Rawdon and CARSTAR St-Félix-de-Valois, with every detail carefully curated to ensure an unforgettable experience. Thanks to their hard work and the enthusiastic support of attendees and sponsors, an impressive $35,000 was raised in just one day.
These funds will directly support cystic fibrosis research, patient care, and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for those affected by the condition.
“Organizing this event was a labour of love for our entire team,” added Jessy Dufresne, owner of CARSTAR Rawdon and CARSTAR St-Félix-de-Valois. “To see the community respond so enthusiastically and raise $35,000 in just one day was beyond what we imagined. We’re proud to support such an important cause and can’t wait to do it again next year.”
“This tournament was a true reflection of the passion and generosity that defines our CARSTAR network,” said Rémi Michaud, Quebec Zone Director, CARSTAR. “Seeing our franchise partners, team members, and supporters come together to make a meaningful impact for cystic fibrosis is incredibly inspiring. This is just the beginning of something special here in Quebec.”
The CARSTAR team extends its heartfelt gratitude to Ariane Gingras, Maria-Mélodie Jiménez, and Jessy Dufresne, owner of CARSTAR Rawdon and CARSTAR St-Félix-de-Valois, for their incredible efforts in organizing this impactful event.
With overwhelmingly positive feedback and strong community support, the organizing committee has confirmed that the CARSTAR Golf Tournament will return in 2026.
