In adopting the CSN Collision banner, Harry Tavoukdjian of Auto Ralph, joined a network that values quality and customer satisfaction as much as he does.
Originally founded over four decades ago in the borough of Rosemont by Harry’s father, Raffi, the auto body shop now occupies spacious, bright and modern facilities in Montreal North.
“The move happened when I took over,” explains Harry. “I wanted a new building where we could offer all services under one roof. Here, not only do we offer body repair services, but also mechanical maintenance and windshield and auto glass replacement via a subcontractor.”
But for Harry, who grew up in his father’s garage, bodywork remains the backbone of the business’s operations. Being under the CSN Collision banner for several years now has meant access to cutting-edge equipment and trained personnel with the most rigorous industry certifications from automobile manufacturers like Tesla, Lexus, Genesis and soon, Mercedes-Benz.
Striving for top quality
“When I took over the shop, I wanted a team that could put cars back into mint condition according to the highest industry standards, be it a twelve-year-old Honda Civic or this year’s Rolls-Royce,” recalls Harry.
Post-pandemic, Harry was approached by Charles Boivin, the Quebec Representative of the CSN Collision banner, to be part of the network, which is making strong headway in Canada.
Common values
“This wasn’t the first time that a network approached me seeing as we’ve always been independent,” comments Harry. “However, upon talking with the people at CSN Collision, it became clear that we share several key values. For example, the network promotes manufacturer certifications which I also value, as well as workmanship quality and customer satisfaction above numbers. I also wanted to be part of a network with other body shops that are striving to achieve the highest quality standards. So, we kind of both chose each other.” The partnership, which was formalized on June 30, 2021, quickly produced tangible results. The network recommended that a modern IT system to be implemented, which has enhanced interdepartmental transparency and communication.
“The CSN Collision network also has a solid reputation with automobile insurance companies—so that’s another plus,” says Harry. Backed by a network that constantly invests in employee training and cutting-edge tools, Harry feels that he’s got everything he needs to successfully tackle what the future may bring.
