Limited Edition Spray gun highlights the options available to painters today.
When it comes the refinish process, having the right gun with the right settings and right material is critical to achieving the best results. SATA showcased its X 5500 spray gun at SEMA360 this year, which due to features such as its revolutionary nozzle sets, allows collision repair shops and painters to realize significant material savings, optimized atomization and material distribution on the surface being painted. The X 5500 also delivers less noise when actually spraying as well as the ability to tailor the gun set up to each individual painter, allowing them to choose O-nozzle or I-nozzle setups for each nozzle size—the O-nozzle being for more traditional applications and the I-nozzle for slower, more controlled applications.
SATA has a history of introducing special edition Spray Guns during SEMA and this year was no exception. The SATA X 5500 Bionic Edition, features artwork that replicates the internal workings of the spray gun, lending it a technical and futuristic look. Offered in a standard (non- digital) version only, in RP and HVLP technology with I and O-nozzles, it’s only available for a limited time. More details can be found at sata.com/bionic.
SATA also showcased other products, including the Minijet 4400 B, TrueSun and SataJet 1500 B SoLV.
