Fix Network is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvain Séguin as Executive Vice President – Canada, effective August 31.

Sylvain joined the Fix Network in 2018 as Vice President of Operations overseeing the operations teams for all brands in Canada—Fix Auto, ProColor Collision, NOVUS Glass and Speedy Auto Service.

Earlier this year, his team led the Network’s response to COVID-19, putting in place rigorous safety protocols for the protection of technicians in the shops as well as customers and the community.

“Sylvain has been a vital member of my leadership team these past two years. His deep industry knowledge and experience have helped us improve our business model, ensuring the financial health and success of our operations in Canada,” said Steve Leal, President & CEO of Fix Network.

“As the Fix Network continues to expand globally, Sylvain will bring continued leadership to the Canadian business with a deep focus on helping our network partners achieve profitability and growth.”

As Executive Vice President for Canada, Sylvain will be responsible for driving all functions and operations in Canada, including Sales, Operations, Business Development and Marketing. He will also establish and maintain long-term relationships with the network’s franchise strategic partners, insurers and distributors to enhance profitability and market position.

Sylvain has almost 30 years of experience in automotive aftermarket services. Before joining Fix Network, he had held various positions with AkzoNobel Coatings Inc., each with increasing responsibility, the last one as Canadian Country Manager. He began his career in the industry as an automotive painter which gives him a unique, operations-level perspective of the business.

“I am proud and delighted to serve as Executive Vice President for Fix Network Canada,” said Sylvain Seguin. “These are unprecedented times for the automotive aftermarket services. COVID-19 will have a long-term impact on our business. As our network partners look to grow and adapt their business post-pandemic, I believe that we are ideally positioned to help them through these uncertain times.”
