In a context where the COVID-19 pandemic is still going on, the CCIF has decided to convert its event in Vancouver this fall into a new virtual experience.

The virtual meeting will take place on October 7 and 8 and interested parties will receive an invitation to register in the coming weeks, while the final touches are put on this highly innovative platform.

A dynamic meeting

This is not a two-day webinar, but a dynamic virtual meeting where participants will have access to various spaces for exchange and discovery. Registrants will arrive in a lobby from where they can choose a destination.

They will be able to access a networking lounge where other participants will appear. Networking will take place via the platform with text, audio and video chat facilities. Thematic discussion groups will also be set up according to the same formula.

Two auditoriums will be accessible and will present a conference program of the quality expected for a CCIF meeting.

Sponsors will also be able to present their goods and services in the form of videos and direct communications with body shops to create business development opportunities.

French content

“And we will ensure a high level of content delivered in French,” said Caroline Lacasse, Director of the CCIF and Conductor of this innovative project.

“Since we were forced to cancel the Montreal meeting in May, we will make sure we meet the expectations of the Francophone participants.”

As with the face-to-face event, this virtual experience will also last two days.

“Of course, it’s not like meeting in person, but this new platform makes us accessible to everyone.

No matter where in Canada they are, our participants will be able to join us and enjoy the content and contacts without having to travel or absorb accommodation costs. ”

All the contents of these two days will be available to participants during the three months following the event.
