Innovative collision shop has seen big benefits from installing the Fix Line system, even during COVID-19.
Symach, a leading supplier of equipment and solutions for collision centres, including complete repair systems has been following the progress and situation of its customers during the COVID-19 via its Symach Talk online interview series.
Recently, Symach Marketing Manager Raffaella Censi interviewed Lorenzo D’Alessandro, President of CSN 427 Auto Collision in Etobicoke, just west of downtown Toronto.
Recognized as an innovator in the collision sector, CSN 427 decided to install Symach’s Fix Line system after witnessing the benefits firsthand.
The system, which includes FlyDry and DryTron drying robots, a KombiTron spray booth with drying cabin, as well as Symach’s MultiBox and Car Lifts and Car Movers, allowed CSN 427 to significantly reduce repair time and boost productivity within the shop, factors that proved highly beneficial with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March.
Although having to contend with reduced operating hours and limited staffing on-site, D’Alessandro said that social distancing and COVID-19 sanitization protocols ensured both staff and customers were kept safe while allowing repairs to continue as efficiently as possible.
D’Alessandro acknowledged that having the Symach Fix Line system provided significant benefits in terms of keeping the shop environment as clean as possible while enabling the team to work effectively at their individual stations amid required social distancing measures.
“As an essential service, balancing shop needs with public responsibilities can be difficult,” said D’Alessandro. “In times like this, we are lucky to have such a great, reliable network of shops through the CSN Network to fall back on for advice and upgraded services, as well as reliable equipment from Symach.”
