Michelin Connected Fleet and hardware manufacturer Doran have announced a joint collaboration integrating Doran’s tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) with Michelin’s Smart Predictive Tire analytics.

Combining hardware sensors with predictive algorithms, Michelin Connected Fleet and Doran launch an integrated tire management solution to reduce commercial fleet downtime.

Michelin Connected Fleet and hardware manufacturer Doran have announced a joint collaboration integrating Doran’s tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) with Michelin’s Smart Predictive Tire analytics. The combined hardware and software platform is hosted on the Platform Science Virtual Vehicle Marketplace.

For commercial fleet managers, maintenance directors, and logistics operators, the integration transforms raw pressure and temperature data into actionable maintenance schedules, targeting blowout prevention and reduced roadside service events.

“Doran provides the signal, and our Michelin Smart Leak algorithm helps translate tire data into actionable insights that support informed maintenance decisions,” said Willem Moore, President of Michelin Connected Fleet. “By providing visibility into potential tire conditions, fleets can evaluate issues sooner and take appropriate action based on their operational needs.”

The system delivers real-time pressure and temperature visibility alongside in-cab driver alerts through the onboard Platform Science telematics architecture, enabling maintenance teams to replace reactive repairs with scheduled servicing.

“Fleets do not just need more data. They need accurate and reliable information that they can trust to reduce tire-related repair and maintenance costs, improve uptime and keep vehicles operating safely,” said Jim Samocki, President of Doran. “By combining Doran’s proven TPMS technology with Michelin’s Smart Predictive Tire solution, fleets can move beyond simply reacting to tire issues.”

The joint offering demonstrates ongoing consolidation between sensor hardware suppliers, predictive software developers, and telematics ecosystems across the commercial motor carrier industry.
