On June 18, Fix Network Ontario hosted its 17th Annual Masters Golf Tournament. Once again taking place at the picturesque Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario, the event drew 136 golfers from across the automotive auto care sector, including collision repairers, insurers, and other key industry stakeholders.

A great day out

While we did have to contend with some genuine Scottish style weather during the opening part of the event, the skies did clear, and a great day was had by everyone out on the course.

Following 18 holes of golf, attendees adjourned to the Glen Abbey clubhouse, where they had a chance to listened to a heart-felt and stirring speech from Korey Rorison, Partnerships & Engagement Officer with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Canada.

“Fix Network and Ronald McDonald House are united in their commitment to help families dealing with the most difficult moments.”

Beyond golf

Rorison said, that “days like today are a great reminder of events that go well beyond simply a golf tournament. It’s about bringing people together, building connections, having fun and making a big difference in the lives of others. Fix Network and Ronald McDonald House are united in their commitment to help families dealing with the most difficult moments.” He noted that Fix Network has been involved with RMHC since 2016 and in 2024, officially became the national partner of Ronald McDonald House Charities and since then over $1 million has been raised for RMHC across Canada.

“This a huge milestone,” said Rorison and speaks to the strength and dedication of the partnership [between Fix Network and RMHC]. As this partnership continues to grow, so does the impact it has on families with seriously ill children. We are deeply grateful for your commitment. With partners like Fix Network not only are we able to meet today’s needs, but continue our support of families in the years to come.”

This year’s Fix Network Ontario Masters Golf Tournament further added to that commitment by raising nearly $10,000 in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Canada. Congratulations to everyone that took part and helped raise even more money to help families in need!
