CARSTAR Onoway Doubles Fundraising Total for Cystic Fibrosis Canada

CARSTAR Canada has recognized franchise partners Dave and Candi Cooper of CARSTAR Onoway (Jack’s Autobody) for their successful community fundraising initiative supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Operating a branded fundraising BBQ on Main Street during the annual Polynesian Days festival in Alberta Beach, Alberta, the CARSTAR Onoway team served festival attendees while raising $1,476 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada—more than doubling their total from the previous year.

The three-day initiative received operational support from industry partner 3M, with representative Bobby Gunderson volunteering as chef for the charity BBQ.

“Polynesian Days is one of the highlights of the summer in our community, and we’re proud to support such an important cause,” said Dave Cooper, owner of CARSTAR Onoway. “Seeing the support from residents and fellow businesses was incredible.”
