The Financial Times has once again included Nokian Tyres on its Europe’s Climate Leaders list, reflecting the company’s strong progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. 

Compiled annually alongside research firm Statista, the list analyzes data from approximately 3,000 European companies to recognize the 600 organizations across all industries that have made the most significant progress in emissions reduction over a five-year period.

Nokian Tyres achieved a major milestone by ranking 29th overall, making it the highest-scoring tire manufacturer on the list. Furthermore, only one other company from the Automobiles & Components sector managed to break into the Top 100 alongside Nokian Tyres. The ranking methodology evaluates performance across absolute greenhouse gas emissions reduction, emissions intensity, and long-term commitments collaborated with sustainability assessors such as CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative.

For tire distributors, automotive retailers, and service centers, Nokian’s strong environmental performance complements its established reputation for winter safety and premium engineering, aligning product sales with increasingly eco-conscious consumer expectations.
