Andy’s Tire Group Acquires PEI-based Wholesaler Cantrek Tire & Supply

Andy’s Tire Group, Atlantic Canada’s largest independent tire and auto service network, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Cantrek Tire & Supply. This strategic merger marks a major expansion to strengthen the wholesale division on Prince Edward Island, providing customers with an expanded range of products and a deep network of experience in the industry.  

The acquisition and merger of Cantrek Tire & Supply with Andy’s Tire Group will be completed effective immediately, Tuesday, October 1st, 2024.  

Under the leadership of Connor Barrett, Cantrek Tire & Supply’s commitment to service delivered exceptional value to PEI’s wholesale tire market. This acquisition will enable Andy’s Tire Group to enhance wholesale distribution on the Island and continue the high standard of customer service.

The Andy’s Tire Group operates 35 corporately owned retail and commercial automotive and tire dealers and two commercial retreading facilities in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward  Island. Andy’s TireWholesale distribution services customers throughout the Atlantic Provinces from warehouses in Lakeside, NS, Truro, NS, and Moncton, NB.  

Cantrek Tire & Supply is a PEI based wholesale distributor of passenger and light truck tires. Known for their personal touch and deep understanding of Island needs, Cantrek Tire & Supply will continue  to operate with the same integrity and commitment throughout the merger and beyond.
