Local Collision Centre Sponsors Collingwood Blues With CARSTAR Gameday

On Friday, February 23, CARSTAR Collingwood (ON) sponsored their first CARSTAR Gameday for the Collingwood Blues. The Blues took on the Cobourg Cougars and won the game by one point.

The CARSTAR Gameday featured various initiatives to fundraise for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, raising $2,265 for the cause. This included a 50/50 raffle that raised $1,000, a Chuck-A-Puck activity that raised $265 where fans purchased a puck to throw onto the ice after the first period with the closet puck to the pylon winning a prize and then CARSTAR Collingwood generously donated $1,000 to complete the evening.

“We have sponsored the Collingwood Blues for years now as this team really brings the community together to raise funds for important causes and have a great time doing it,” said Gary Boucher, Owner, CARSTAR Collingwood. “This year’s CARSTAR Gameday was an incredible success, and we were proud to not only showcase our business but also support cystic fibrosis research, care and advocacy!”
