SEMA 2022: Meguiar’s Black Rim Cleaner

Meguiar’s, known for its automotive cleaning, polishing and protection products, is offering a new cleaning product specifically designed for black wheels.

Mike Pennington, Director of Training, says the development of this product stems from the introduction of more and more black-finish wheel rims on both new and aftermarket cars.

“We wanted an effective cleaner that would respect the surface, whether it was matte, satin or even chrome,” Pennington says. “So we offer this cleaner developed with all of our science an effective product that won’t damage the surface and has a pleasant smell.”

As he explains, both hobbyists and body shop professionals will appreciate this addition to Meguiar’s catalog. It may also be a good fit for reconditioning vehicles for resale.
