Centennial Auto Group has expanded its Atlantic Canada footprint with the acquisition of CARSTAR Bridgewater in Nova Scotia. The transaction integrates a 14,000-square-foot, two-building operation into Centennial’s network, bringing its total number of collision centers across Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia to 13.
For commercial fleet operators and insurance partners across Atlantic Canada, the consolidation strengthens regional repair capacity backed by standardized network processes. Retaining the existing operational team at the Bridgewater facility provides continuity of service while leveraging Centennial’s scale for parts procurement and administrative support.
The acquisition reflects ongoing consolidation across the Canadian collision repair sector as facilities adapt to rising capital intensity. Meeting OEM repair standards, investing in advanced diagnostic and ADAS calibration tooling, and securing skilled labor continue to drive independent shops toward larger regional dealership groups and banner networks to protect long-term operating margins.
