The top-tier rating reflects leadership in supplier engagement on climate-related issues, including Scope 3 emissions tracking, climate governance, and raw material decarbonization.

Advancing its corporate sustainability roadmap, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has earned an “A” score in the CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment.

The top-tier rating reflects leadership in supplier engagement on climate-related issues, including Scope 3 emissions tracking, climate governance, and raw material decarbonization.

CDP’s evaluation highlights Goodyear’s structured supplier engagement program, which requires raw material suppliers to establish science-based climate targets, transition to renewable energy sources, and provide product-level greenhouse gas (GHG) footprint data. The initiative forms a key component of Goodyear’s broader target to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, alongside interim 2030 climate goals.

Goodyear’s supply chain transparency supports broader corporate scope 3 emissions reporting. As commercial transportation networks prioritize sustainable procurement, verified supplier climate performance remains a vital factor in fleet tire management strategies.
